Sizzling in Oklahoma; I'm a Winner!!! & Luna Giveaway

Today is just one of those days that I dread to even open my front door.  I'm not a hot weather type of girl ... and so I think I will just leave my door shut until the weather decides to cool down.  Even my dogs are refusing to go outside.   I'm going to blame my lack of energy on the heat as well.  I have a couch piled full of stuff that needs to be taken care of.  All school related.  Maybe tomorrow.

I Have... Who Has... Freebie & Enjoying Summer!

Summer is flying by so quickly!!!  I can't believe how much time I've spent reading!!  Speaking of time, I decided I would take a few minutes out of my precious reading time and make a game that my students love to play. I have... Who has... It's yours for the taking, but I must admit  I'm not totally happy with it yet.  Any suggestions on how to make it better?  Suggestions are welcome... but I must warn you I cry easily!  

Layers of Heartache

It is almost impossible to believe that it has been 3 years since my mother passed away.  I don’t think it is possible to understand the layers upon layers of heartache that I've felt unless you have lost someone that was such a vital part of your life.   It is a loss beyond words.  Today my heart aches for my mom just like it did 3 years ago.

It's that time of month again. I almost didn't find time in my busy schedule to link up with Oh Boy 4th Grade for Currently.   However, I knew that she would miss me, so I squeezed it in.  Hope everyone is enjoying their summer... or that you will be soon.  :-)
