I have so many favorite Thanksgiving books, this was tough! After thinking about it for a few days a
few minutes, I finally decided that Ankle
Soup by Maureen Sullivan has to be the one! This book is from the view point (ankle-high of course)
of Carlos, a French Bulldog on Thanksgiving Day in New York City. Carlos goes on a cab ride through New York
City, past the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, to Grand Central Station. He
sees acts of kindness along his way. Cute
book that rhymes with beautiful paintings! Love it!
